Prison Fellowship

Prison Fellowship works through its volunteer members to support prisoners in a number of ways. Find out in these pages how we are standing alongside prisoners across England and Wales and how you can be part of this. As well as our programmes listed below, there may be a range of other opportunities to work with the prison chaplaincy. These might include helping with Sunday services, midweek Bible studies and administrative support. The opportunities available vary between prisons, your Regional Coordinators and PF local group leaders will be able to tell you whether any other opportunities exist near you.

Vision & Mission
Our vision is that every prisoner has access to support and prayer.
PF’s mission is to show Christ’s love to prisoners by coming alongside them and supporting them. We seek through prayer and practical care to help, support and develop a Christian ministry to prisoners and their families. We do this through our network of volunteer members, and currently have over 2,000 members across England and Wales.
