As you may have already read in the press, The UK have a new Secretary of State for Education, Damian Hinds MP.
A recent newspaper article based on Hinds' first big speech in the role is interesting. He encourages schools to aim for an ethos that develops pupils’ character, resilience and workplace skills. It will be interesting to see how this aim translates into practice. We pray him well as his work in the role develops and extends.
